Where: Allaire State Park, Farmingdale, NJ
When: Begins Saturday May 19 at 10:00 and goes until Sunday morning, May 20
What: Backpacking/ Camping trip with some historical tours as well
Estimated Itinerary:
Saturday May 19:
10:00 am- arrive at destination*
10:30 am- begin hike (Orange trail including the loop)
12:00pm - arrive at the Allaire Village
12:00- tour of the railroad station
1:00-2:30- lunch/ free exploration of Allaire Village
2:30- begin second part of hike (take green trail loop past family camping and circle back around. We will then then take a bike trail and roads to reach our campsite)
5:00- arrive at campsite (Group Camping area)
*The hike will begin starting at the parking lot on Hurley Pond road
Sunday May 20:
I would love to be out of there by 9:30 at the latest. (Pickup will be from the campsiteon Squankum Road).
